Indulge in the savory flavors of Pork Chow Mein, a classic Chinese stir-fry dish. Tender slices of pork, crisp vegetables, and flavorful noodles come together in a deliciously satisfying meal that is quick and easy to prepare.
Ingredients
350g pkt fresh chow mein noodles
500g pork sirloin steaks, trimmed, thinly sliced (Pork mince can also be used for this recipe instead of the pork sirloin steaks.)
2tbsp vegetable oil
1 onion, halved, sliced
1tbsp mild curry powder
2 tomatoes, cut into 2cm wedges
1 carrot, coarsely grated
1/2tsp ground cinnamon
2tbsps kecap manis
2tbsp soy sauce
3cups shredded Chinese cabbage
1cup fresh coriander leaves
Instructions

Prepare noodles according to packet directions. Drain.

Toss pork with half the oil in a large bowl.

Heat a large, non-stick wok over a high heat.

Add pork in two batches.

Stir-fry for about 2 minutes, or until browned. Remove. Cover to keep warm.

Heat remaining oil in the same hot wok. Add onion and curry powder.

Stir-fry for 1 minute.

Add tomatoes, carrot and cinnamon.

Stir-fry for 2 minutes.

Return pork to wok with noodles, kecap manis and soy sauce.

Stir-fry for a further 3 minutes, or until hot. Remove from heat.
